Common Errors & Correction
বাক্যের ভুল অংশ চিহ্নিত করে শুদ্ধ করাই Correction. BCS সিলেবাসে Tense, Verb, Preposition, Determiner, Gender, Number ও Subject-Verb Agreement — এই সাতটি ক্ষেত্রের ভুল উল্লেখ আছে।
যেসব ভুল বারবার আসে
সহজ করে বুঝি
Correction-এর প্রশ্নে চোখ বন্ধ করে পড়লে ভুল ধরা পড়ে না। একটা নির্দিষ্ট ক্রমে খোঁজো।
প্রথমে দেখো subject আর verb মিলছে কি না। তারপর tense ঠিক আছে কি না। তারপর preposition, article, pronoun-এর case।
এই চেকলিস্ট ধরে এগোলে ৮০% ভুল প্রথম দুই ধাপেই ধরা পড়বে — কারণ পরীক্ষায় agreement আর tense-এর ভুলই সবচেয়ে বেশি দেওয়া হয়।

বাহুল্য দোষ (Redundancy)
একই অর্থ দুবার প্রকাশ করা ইংরেজিতে ভুল।
- return back ✗ → return ✓
- repeat again ✗ → repeat ✓
- revert back ✗ → revert ✓
- join together ✗ → join ✓
- more superior ✗ → superior ✓
- each and every one ✗ (আনুষ্ঠানিক লেখায়) → each one / every one ✓
ভুল ধরার চেকলিস্ট
- ১. Subject ও verb-এর number মিলছে কি? (agreement)
- ২. Tense ও sequence ঠিক আছে কি?
- ৩. Preposition যথাযথ কি? (appropriate preposition)
- ৪. Article/Determiner ঠিক আছে কি? (a/an/the, much/many)
- ৫. Pronoun-এর case ঠিক কি? (between you and me)
- ৬. একই অর্থ দুবার আছে কি? (redundancy)

পরীক্ষার ফাঁদ
- discuss, order, marry, resemble, enter — এদের পরে preposition বসে না।
- return back, repeat again, more superior — বাহুল্য দোষ।
- ‘cousin brother/sister’ ইংরেজিতে ভুল, শুধু ‘cousin’।
মনে রাখার কৌশল
- চেকলিস্ট মেনে ক্রমে খোঁজো: agreement → tense → preposition → article → pronoun।
- উত্তর মিলিয়ে দেখো — বাক্যটি জোরে পড়লে কানে ভুল ধরা পড়ে।

- ২.Uncountable noun-এ a/an বা plural বসে না (advice, information, scenery)।
- ৩.discuss/order/enter/marry-র পরে preposition বসে না।
- ৪.although+but, because+so, lest+not, no+any — একসঙ্গে ভুল।
