বাক্যটির শূন্যস্থান পূরণ করলে একটি WH question দাঁড়াবে। এক্ষেত্রে উত্তর 'a' তে whom did you tell থাকলে সঠিক হতো। উত্তর (খ) বসালেও যথাযথ বাক্য গঠিত হয় না। আবার উত্তর (ঘ) তে কোনো conjunction না থাকায় দুটি clause সঠিকভাবে যুক্ত হচ্ছে না এবং বাক্যও গঠিত হচ্ছে না। সেক্ষেত্রে উত্তর (গ)-তে who দিয়ে যদি WH question টি শুরু হয় তাহলে ‘কে বলল’ এরূপ একটি অর্থ প্রকাশ পায় এবং যথাযথ নিয়মে sentence গঠিত হয়।
